PATTERN DETAILS

Full of texture and warmth this sampler cowl showcases many of the ways a single colorway of yarn can appear, depending on the stitch pattern used. The name, Cantare, means "to sing" in Italian, and just as a song is put together from differing verses and choruses, the different sections of this cowl come together and form a larger "song". GAUGE About 5 stitches per inch in stockinette, unblocked. Differences in gauge will impact the finished size of the cowl and the yardage used, but are not crucial to fit SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Small (9" wide, 23" circumference) and Large (9" wide, 46" circumference)

Supplies Needed

  • 195 (385) yards worsted weight yarn
  • US 7/4.5mm circular needle with at least a 24 inch cable
  • tapestry needle
