Named for the gorgeous Lorna's Laces colorway, Campbell, named for a Chicago street, and for the location of the photoshoot on Birmingham's 2nd Avenue North, Campbell & 2nd is a sleek boatneck pullover with asymmetrical lace detailing at the shoulder, and optionally, at the hip. Knit seamlessly from the top down, this lightweight pullover features sleek shaping and gorgeous lace details. Sleeves are a raglan/set-in hybrid, increasing on both the body and sleeve sections at first, then increasing on just the sleeve sections. A brief series of short rows help create a slight dip in the front neck. For proper sizing, a finished bust size that provides from 2" negative ease or up to 1" of positive ease compared to actual full bust measurement is recommended. And as with most top-down sweaters, Campbell & 2nd is easy to modify for a perfect fit. GAUGE 24 st & 32 rows = 4" in Stockinette stitch.

My background in fiber arts began as a kid in Connecticut, sewing and crafting, and grew into a pursuit of a degree in fiber arts from the Savannah College of Art and Design (B.F.A. Fibers, 1999). My original major was sequential art (comic book geek), but tactile fibers drew me back in. I still draw pictures, too! I'm a former yarn shop owner, and was the creative mind (and hands) behind Kitchen Sink Dyeworks. I love combining texture and color, the thrill of a curve or angle falling right into place, and love sharing the resulting patterns.
