What's more summery than a tumble of leafy lace in a bright, cheerful color? Knit from the center out in a trio of subtly asymmetrical sections, this petal-soft shawl is elegant enough for a wedding or summer garden party - but it's not too sweet! The deeply scalloped points add plenty of drama, and when wrapped as a scarf you can wear it well into fall. Charted lace instructions are easy to follow. I'm Andrea and I make great knitting patterns! I live on Vancouver Island in Canada, where I knit, design, and ride my bike. I love the functionality and beauty of knitting and knit everything from head to toe. My patterns have been published in Brooklyn Tweed Wool People, Twist Collective, Interweave Knits, Knitscene, Knitty, and other publications, as well as independently. I'm working on a book called Rugged Knits with Interweave that's scheduled to come out in the spring of 2016. All of my independently-published patterns have been thoroughly tested and edited for clarity and accuracy.
