Pattern Details

Cozy up your room with a custom sweater for your lamp! Just slip these hand knit covers over a lampshade for instant coziness. They knit up quickly using super bulky yarn. You can make them in several different colors so your lampshade can have lots of different sweaters!! The green and ivory cozies shown in the photos are the small size, the pink cozy shown is the medium size. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY cast on knit stitch purl stitch bind off using cable needle GAUGE 2.5 stitches per inch and 4 rows per inch in stockinette stitch SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS These lampshade covers are designed to fit lampshades sold at Target labeled "small" (5" top diameter x 10" bottom diameter x 7" high) and "medium" (6" top diameter x 15" bottom diameter x 10" high). The covers will stretch a bit so they could accommodate a shade slightly larger or smaller at the top and bottom. NOTE***I'm not sure if Target is still selling the shade mentioned above, but Lowes does have one that is very close in size****

Recommended with this pattern

  • 108 yards of super bulky weight yarn
