Pattern Details

Knit flower designed to allow knitters to have options for easy knit flowers! This flower reminds me of a breezy summer day with the open details in the petals. The petals puff out and give a 3 dimensional look of a real flower! It is knit in a simple and easy method. It is accomplished with one knit piece that is worked with to create a beautiful flower! This pattern was designed with cotton yarn. It can be made with any yarn you desire! The cotton yarn gives it a little more stiffness. A very good way to get rid of any excess pieces of yarn you have laying around. This flower will look look awesome on any hand work you have made! Headbands, hats, purses, etc... Enjoy and allow the colours of summer adorn your hand work!! My name is Lara and I love to knit! I have been knitting for 13 years. My oldest son is almost 13! Before he was born, I picked up the needles and taught myself to knit! I started with a scarf, jumped to a jacket and hat for my newborn and then to a baptism gown! I have knit many, many sweaters, hats, mitts, socks over the last 10 years! Everytime I pick up needles, I have something else in my mind I want to try! I have an electronic systems engineering degree, but have chosen to stay home with my children at this moment. I love working with numbers, so writing up patterns is a great challenge for me! I have 6 wonderful children, so have many opportunities to knit for them! I have also learned some crocheting as I find it adds to my knit projects! I hope you enjoy these patterns as much as I do!
