PATTERN DETAILS

Having already designed two of these cuddly blankets I thought that would be enough, but a lot of customer pressure and this is my third. I do enjoy knitting these blankets, choosing the softest of yarns especially for a little one. Finished blanket measures 18 x 18 square inch/46cm square. One of these blankets will be winging its way to my brand new great nephew in Scotland. There are two blanket options included in this package, one is a simple cable, I've included step by step photos to help if you are not confident at cabling but want to try it. The other blanket is a simple knit/purl design, just in case you aren't comfortable with cabling. The package also includes a detailed step by step making up guide which is full of photos and helpful tips to help you create a lovely cuddle blanket for a special little someone. Please note this listing is for an instant downloadable knitting pattern, not a physical item. Huggable Bears
I learnt the art of knitting when I was about 5 years old. Even at that age I was never happy to follow a pattern, always wanting to try something different. After a shoulder injury I found I couldn't knit anything heavy and out of sheer boredom I found myself knitting a bear. I didn't like the finished bear and thought I could do better myself so after a lot of frustrating frogging Huggable Bear was born. I love creating these bears and other animals, or should I say watching them create themselves, no two are ever alike.
