Atwater Mittens are toasty, slim fitting little mitts with some simple colorwork. They are named for the Milwaukee beach where my husband proposed, and I happily accepted. A great beginner colorwork pattern, which includes both written and charted instructions for working stitch pattern. Sizes: x-small (small, medium, large) or child (teen/adult S, adult M, adult L) To fit palm circumference: Note-these mitts are slim fitting, so if you are in between sizes, size up. 5-5.5 (6-6.5, 7-7.5, 7.5-8+) inches 13-14 (15-16.5, 18-19, 19-20.5+) cm Yarn Requirements: Color A - 60 (100, 125, 150) yds 55 (91, 114, 137) m Color B - 25 (40, 65, 75) yds 23 (37, 60, 69) m BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY knitting in the round purling using waste yarn to hold stitches kitchener stitch to graft increases and decreases GAUGE 10 stitches and 14 rows = 2 inches in stockinette in the round SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS see notes/description for details PREFERRED BRAND/YARN Malabrigo Worsted (100% Merino) or Malabrigo Rios
