The Anacapa wrap reinvents the traditional Aran sweater for warm climates by substituting lace for textured stitch patterns, and cool cotton for Irish wool. Knit in two halves from the center out, the wrap is generously sized for one or a snuggled two. Originally published in Knitting in the Sun by Kristi Porter, the Anacapa pattern has been updated with a new cast-on, new written instructions for the cables and lace, and new charts. This pattern was named for one of the islands off the west coast of America in homage to the Aran islands off the west coast of Ireland.
