This lovely lace Cape will be a wonderful addition to your wardrobe. The open lace stitch gives a light and airy feel yet it still provides extra warmth across the shoulders and back. A single button at the neck holds it securely in place. My Cape is worked in 8ply yarn but this pattern would also suit thicker or thinner yarns just remember that altering the yarn will alter the width. My mum taught me to knit when I was just four years old and I have been addicted ever since. I now work (if you can call it work!) as a pattern writer and technical editor, both for companies here in Australia and for my own business. I love the creative process and using a simple ball of yarn and a pair of needles to make something gorgeous yet practical.
