PATTERN DETAILS

Written and charted. US and metric Free support - email lavishcraft@hotmail.com Super bulky yarn and big needles = Easy, fast knit ~ I finished easily in an afternoon. Worked in the round, bottom up. Totally reversible patterning - different on each side but equally appealing on both. To me, one side looks like half and half textured Easter eggs, the other the baskets to put them in. Hence the A Tisket A Tasket title. Very simple stitches -just knit, purl, YO and p3tog, worked in an 8 round by 6 stitch repeat. The edge is designed to curl under, just to the first line of the stitch repeat. You can leave piece 'as knit' or block lightly. I think this would also be lovely worked as a shoulderette/wrap/oversized cowl with more stitches at CO and more yarn (2+ hanks) It is very easy to +/- circumference; Each rep = aprox 3" (15.25 cm) Stitch multiple is 6, so +/- multiples of 6 at CO for each +/- 3" (15.25 cm) desired. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY cast on bind off knit purl yarn over purl 3 together work in round GAUGE 9 sts = 4" (10 cm) as knit 8 sts = 4" (10 cm) blocked pattern for gauge stockinette Gauge not critical but will affect yardage and finished dimensions SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Unblocked 24"(61cm) by 10" (25cm) tall Blocked it is 27" (68.5 cm) by 11.5" (29 cm) PREFERRED BRAND/YARN malabrigo 'Rasta' COLORWAY Arco Iris
