Silver DreamWeaver

Project Description

What was your source for this jewelry project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo DreamWeaver Link to website or photo www.lexicajewelry.com Who is this project for? Women What are you most proud of? I really like the look and dimensionality of this piece. What advice would you give someone starting this project? The hardest thing for me in beginning was figuring out how to keep the wire tight so that the weave looked right. My first trial had some loose spots using just a hammer, so I started using a dowel rod and a vice which worked much better. I would suggest doing a test run on art wire before using silver.

andrea293079 asked:
this looks very elegant. Can it be made for larger wrist sizes easily? I would like to try making it. Please send me the instructions at andrea@verplanck.com. Thank you.
Vlkiker answered:
Andrea, I have sent you the instructions and yes it can easily be made larger. All you would need to do is increase the length of each wire to accommodate the longer length. Measure the wrist size and weave until you get the right length.
