Joann's Lariat

Who is this project for? Women What are you most proud of? I am happy with the way I was able to use brown and blue pearls from the Walnut colorway to bring the Whispers pastels together with the antique brass Vintaj pieces. And I didn't scrimp on the length of the lariat, which is a huge temptation when you aren't sure you'll have enough beads. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Give yourself more time than the single evening I allowed myself. Remember that sometimes lots of large-size seed beads in a row can pull hair, so vary the size of the beads that go on the neck. If you're planning matching earrings, put those beads aside, so they don't wind up in the lariat.

You Can Make This

jenonymous made Joann's Lariat with:

  • Vintaj antiqued brass findings
  • Bead Treasures Brilliance 4x6 lt.col. topaz gem cut beads
  • 2 packs of Bead Treasures Czech glass bead mix (Whispers)
