This Lesson is introducing to you the revolutionary, completely new way, I recently discovered, that we could use the old, classic Herringbone Weave Technique for embellishing various beads so that to have Two "Fronts" instead of one "front" and one "back" side. I rated the tutorial as "Advanced" though I have written the instructions for a Beginner's level, due to my technique requires an appropriate round wire handling for the subtle adjustments needed to create a beautiful, neatly shaped two "fronts" weaving. From Beginners to Very Advanced, every wirework artist, could benefit from my latest discovery, therefore, I would call this tutorial a "Must Have" for every wirework artist! You will learn not only the Herringbone Weave Technique but also: 1. My innovative methods (there are two methods that I developed, yes) of wrapping a herringbone weave simultaneously for both sides of one bead, front and back, so that they will look almost identical when your weaving is done. 2. How to straighten your wires before using them 3. How to make your own spiraled end head pins (head pins with one two loops spiral at one end) You may opt to replace the materials and/or colors I used for demonstrations, with those fitting best to your taste. You have a wide range of options to choose from silver, silvery, gold-filled, bronze, etc. to copper wires. You will find, in the page 30 of this tutorial, the lengths of wires and gauges needed for wrapping various sizes of round beads, smaller than 18 mm. The purpose of this tutorial is to share with you the Secret of my "two fronts" herringbone weave and not to teach you how to make a finished product using my own discovery. Some of the pieces shown in the first picture herein uploaded were used to demonstrate my technique. Inside the tutorial you will find more pictures of the jewelry pieces I made using this technique, which could serve you for inspiration. A Big Plus of my technique is that allows wrapping two "fronts" herringbone weaves not only around round beads or but also around roundels and other bead shapes, every single time with equally delightful results. Last couple of additional pictures highlights the versatility of my Two "Fronts" Herringbone Weave Technique, presenting a pair of beautiful earrings I made weaving around turquoise briolette. Of course that if you opt for weaving around other beads and sizes than I used for demonstrating the technique in my tutorial, you will have to approximate and adjust the length of your wrapping wire so you won't run out of wire before finishing the herringbone weave. I am giving you the technique, you have to bring into play your own creativity and imagination, using my technique for creating Your Own gorgeous looking jewelry pieces. Sky is your limit! The tutorial is filled with information, tips, advices on "how to", and troubleshooting, all these supported by 85 clear pictures (mainly close-ups) with relevant explanations right beside them, spread along 5 main steps, within 32 pages. I would suggest reading it on the computer and then pick out the pages that you want to print to have at hand while following along. I am always available to answer any questions about the tutorial. Please carefully read all tutorial pages before starting to make your own beautiful jewelries!!! The dimensions given in Imperial System are approximate!!! I hope you will enjoy the lesson. Happy Jewelling!!!
