What was your inspiration? Representations of the Buddha often show his hair curled into tiny little whorls. These can look like "buns" or "snails" or anything else that spirals inward. The Buddha's hair is portrayed in this manner because it was believed that, when he was a prince, he had long curly hair. When he cut his hair short, his curls spiraled close to his head - and that's what we see in the various statues. This is my interpretation of Buddha :) Would love your feedback on the same. Sorry the image quality is a bit blurry but the picture close up is taken post framing...
