Faux Leather Experiment

What are you most proud of? I went against traditional embroidery protocol and I didn't use any stabilizer. I decided the faux leather had enough body that I didn't need a stabilizer. I did slow the machine down while embroidering. I also hovered over it while it stitched. I am very pleased with the way it turned out. What advice would you give someone starting this project? First, learn the whys and wherefores of the embroidery process. Then if you have a hunch something will work, try it. The bag was inexpensive, only $3. Experimenting with your machine can be fun. Things won't always work, but so what.
