Q&A with nancy4taichi

jenkinsm1544399 asked:
Your afghans are beautiful. How long does it take to make one?
nancy4taichi answered:
Not sure how long, probably for this one around 80 hours. It depends on the size and the complexity of the pattern.
jenkinsm1544399 asked:
Would you be so kind as to post your edging pattern?
nancy4taichi answered:
Foundaton round: sc, chain 3, skip 2 stitches, sc (makes the base ch-3 loops). If you used a flat braid join, you already have the ch-3 loops around the edge of the blanket. Round 2: sc in first loop, (3 dc, ch 3, sl st to first ch for a picot, 3 dc) in next loop, sc in next loop around. In corners [5 dc, picot, 5 dc].
jenkinsm1544399 asked:
Sorry, it's me again. What colors did you use for this afghan?
nancy4taichi answered:
Red Heart Super Saver: White, Soft Navy, and a variegated Shaded Dusk.
