Pom Pom Home Slippers

Project Description

What are you most proud of? I made this pattern along while I crochet them, trying to reduce any unneccesary yarn's ends weaving and to make them the quickest as I could - such a lazy crocheter I am :-P & I pretty adore the color combination here, pink and lime green - feels like a sweet watermelon very much. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Work in double strand of 4 ply yarn. Toe: Begin in oval shape, I mainly used double crochet to quicken this project. Increase during the first 3 - 5 rows until it fit your toes. Continue to work in round until reached the desired length of your feet. Sole: Switch to work in rows, approximately 20 dc sts/row, continue working until reached the desired length. Heel: Crochet to the middle of the row, then decrease next 6 sts into 3 sts, continue to work in single dc until you reach to end of the row. Cut yarn long enough to sew the heel close & weave in end. Edge: 2 rows of single crochet in next 3 - 4 sts then sc2tog; you can adjust the freguency of sc2tog as you need, it should shrink your shoes opening enough to hold your feet firmly.

What you will need

  • Acrylic yarn
  • Recycle Sole
