Mother's Day Contest Lace Parasol

Project Description

What are you most proud of? This was made using a free lace pattern that i modified by using super saver yarn and size H crochet hook instead of the recomended size. If you have made doilies before, or you are familiar with Pineapple Lace, this should be a sinch for you.

  • Red Heart Super Saver and size H crochet hook and an old or unused umbrella

There is a website for the free pattern. I used Red Heart Super Saver and crochet hook H instead of thread. It worked perfectly for the foldable umbrella I had laying around. Have fun!!!

Never mind the question about the pattern. I found it, but it isn't big enough for a parasol working it in thread. Only 13 1/2" in diameter. Thanks for sharing.

The pattern is lace, But I used regular red heart yarn. That made it so much bigger. Hope this helps :-)
