Holiday Crochet Bag

What was your source for this crocheting project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo Starling Handbag Link to website or photo www.futuregirl.com/craft_blog/downloads.aspx What are you most proud of? I am most proud of this purse being so simple, yet so cute. It took almost no time to make, which was really great. When I have gone out with this bag, I have received so many compliments! What advice would you give someone starting this project? If you are making a bag like this and you have a zippered pouch to go inside it, make sure that you measure the pouch prior to starting the bag, so that you can be sure that it fits! I did not do this when I made my purse, so the bag is quite a lot bigger than the pouch - which is not a bad thing, as I can fit more things in there. I guess the key is to make sure that the bag is not too small!

You Can Make This

VickyC made Holiday Crochet Bag with:

  • I used half a skein of Red Heart medium worsted weight wool with a 4mm crochet hook and stitch counters made from paper clips. The embellishment on the bag is a broach that I found a few years back in a discount bin.
