Heartwarming Basinet Cover

Project Description

What was your source for this crocheting project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo Heartwarming Wrap by Terry Kimbrough Link to website or photo What are you most proud of? That I persevered, it was tedious but worth it. What advice would you give someone starting this project? This cream blanket is for a new baby due in three weeks which is expected to be a boy, so the mother-to-be has gone with neutral colours. The blanket is heavy, but thats ok because it is winter here in OZ. It is a bit small for a good size blanket, but will suit the new basinet well. This is Gemmas first baby. The pattern is a bit tedious, but worthwhile and as with all Terry Kimbrough blankets the border makes it. I did a couple of rows more of the border to make it a little bigger. Love this yarn, no problems at all! The pattern uses a lot of yarn for a small area, but it is warm and still soft enough. Probably should have used a 5mm hook.
