Q&A with Marilee Rockley

kittykat asked:
What kind of needle or hook do you use? Don't know anything about this.
Marilee Rockley answered:
I made these earrings using the technique of shuttle tatting. I used a small plastic "Clover" brand shuttle, but any tatting shuttle could be used. The thread quality is more important than the tool in tatting. I used is "Lizbeth" brand size 10. Lizbeth is a very firm, smooth thread with a cable twist 6 cord construction, which makes it perfect for tatting - nice, crisp, results.
