Doll's dress

What are you most proud of? The colours work well together. What advice would you give someone starting this project? The fullness of skirt and sleeves means this isn't a quick project, but worth it in the end. I wouldn't use this pattern for a baby because of the embellishments (easily swallowed) and the open, lacy stitches (little toes could easily get caught up) and the bulkiness of the skirt. This is modelled on a 24" doll.

You Can Make This

lizrev made Doll's dress with:

  • 4 ply wool in mint green and dusty pinkmint green
  • 2.50 crochet hook
  • pink ribbon roses

Q&A with lizrev

Cookie1225 asked:
Where can I find this pattern? What size doll does it fit? It is beautiful!
lizrev answered:
Hi Cookie I made up the pattern by choosing the bodice from a commercial pattern then choosing an appropriate stitch pattern. I have now written the skirt pattern and posted it on the page.
