A gift for Mom

Project Description

What was your source for this crocheting project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo Cluster Lace Throw - WR2052 Link to website or photo http://www.redheart.com What are you most proud of? That I finished on time & mailed it off to the States (I'm in England) in time for Mother's Day!! It took me 3 weeks to do this one. It is about 51" x 69" big. This pattern had stitches that I had never done before. I practiced with some scrap yarn before I attempted to do this throw. I'm so pleased that my Mom liked it. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Be prepared for lots of counting & paying attention to details. If you miss a cluster & don't notice it for several rows - you will be tearing down rows & destroying a whole days work.

What you will need

  • 7 skeins of Red Hearts 'Super Saver' lemon yellow yarn. Pattern calls for 10 skeins - I had 3 left over. It is in the worsted weight 4 category. The pattern is one of the free ones.
