Pattern Details

Float away to crochet bliss while you create this lovely cowl. The gradual widening from top to bottom makes it easy to style. This simple, elegant cowl is worked in the round with the right side facing. It isn’t difficult to create, using different sized hooks to decrease instead of decreasing the number of stitches. This pattern is a part of the Cerebral Crochet Series. For your entertainment, a few fun facts about weightlessness are included at the end of the pattern. Cowl measures 11 in (28 cm) wide at top, 14 in (35.5 cm) wide at bottom, and 10 in (25.5 cm) long.

Recommended with this pattern

  • 180 yards of Berroco Cirrus, or other bulky weight yarn
  • Hooks: 6.0 mm (J) 5.5 mm (I) 5.0 mm (H)
  • yarn needle

I live in Seattle, Washington. Since learning to crochet in college I have spent much of the past several years improving my skills and immersing myself in the subculture. In addition to crochet my hobbies include quilling, baking, and reading. My favorite color is purple. Shine on and happy hooking!
