Monkeys remind me of when my boys were younger - and we lived closer to a zoo. We used to go to the Philadelphia Zoo when I lived in PA but now that we're in the South, our closest zoo is in Birmingham and it's kind of a lame zoo - no offense but once was enough for us to visit. The next closest zoos are several hours away - 4+ hours so it just isn't a day trip to go to the zoo anymore :'( The monkey house was one of my all time favorites to visit. Spunky Monkey is my favorite monkey at this time - having said that, I do plan on designing more so he might get toppled off my favorite list!! This original CraftyDeb crochet amigurumi pattern is designed by Deb Richey. All CraftyDeb patterns are for personal use only and not for resale or selling finished items online. They can be made for in person craft shows and fairs. Your Craftsy purchase will also be made available for download on my main website at GAUGE There is no gauge given however the tighter your stitches, the less stuffing will show through. If you can see air between your stitches, use a smaller hook. SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS 12" tall when made with worsted weight.

Recommended with this pattern

  • 3 1/2 oz yarn - main color
  • 1 1/2 oz yarn - face, ears, feet, hands
  • 15mm safety eyes - or buttons. You can embroider them if desired.
