This is a very simple granny square bag that I designed to use in a crochet class where I teach children, so it is a great pattern for children learning to crochet as it is also something that they can use. This also means that it is a great project for any beginner crocheter, or as a quick project for an experienced crocheter. This bag can be made for a child, or it can be used by an adult as a small carry bag to carry just a few items. It is made in 7 rounds, but you could increase the size of the bag by increasing the number of rounds of your granny square. This is also a great stash busting project as it doesn't take a lot of yarn. I would love to see what you make with this pattern. Come and show me your photos over on my facebook page "Mandy's Craft Tales". You are welcome to sell what you make using my patterns. Please include a link or reference to my shop for the pattern. I am a class music teacher at a primary school, teaching grade R - 7. I have my masters degree in music, but I am addicted to crafting and collecting craft materials! Over the years I have tried many different crafts including quilling, scrap booking and stamping, some altered art, crochet, wood carving, mosaicing, cross stitch and embroidery, smocking, lampworking, some work in clay, bookmaking, handmade bears, sewing/quilting and card making, and most recently knitting. At the moment I am most focused on crochet, and it gives me such joy and an over abundance of yarn and other gorgeous goodies that there is no space for.
