PATTERN DETAILS

A very quick piece for girls, available in sizes 4-12 with custom sizing guide in the pattern. Often shrugs are worked from cuff to cuff. Instead, this pattern is worked from the bottom-up building the ribbing as you go. That means the only sewing is the two sleeve seams. This is the girls' version of the Alpaca Silk Shrug (also available here - http://www.craftsy.com/pattern/crocheting/Clothing/Alpaca-Silk-Shrug/15833). GAUGE 5 repeats of (2hdc, ch1) = 3.75" SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS This shrug will fit sizes 4-6 (6-8, 10-12).

Recommended with this pattern

  • 1 skein Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece (80% cotton /20% wool, 215 yards)
  • Size H/5mm crochet hook
  • Yarn needle
