Finally a comfortable travel pillow for those long road trips we all take. After trying everything to keep my daughter's head out of her stomach when sleeping on road trips, I finally decided to make something myself and this travel pillow is what I came up with. Made with only 1 skein of 100% cotton yarn (Bernat Cottontots) this pillow is soft and cool on the skin, and cheap to make. The pillow has three straps to attach to a shoulder seat belt to keep it from falling down once you (yes it can be used for adults) or your little one falls asleep. The contoured "chin catcher" helps keep your head from falling forward and the long length lets you hold on to it (finally something to do with your arms when sleeping in the car). This pillow is intended for children over 3 years old due to the buttons and because it can only be used with the shoulder strap of your car (booster seats and up). HEY EVERYONE! I’M DEJA JETMIR, THE DESIGNER BEHIND CROCHET EVER AFTER. Sign up for my newsletter. I offer new patterns at 50% for the first week with promo codes exclusive to the newsletter. Click here to sign up now (copy and paste if not clickable): READ ON TO LEARN A LITTLE ABOUT ME. How long you been crocheting? From the time I learned from my great-grandmother until now — over 25 years. Actual time crocheting (my 20s were a blur of school, work and debt, having a stash was not an option)– probably about 15. How’d you start designing? I got pregnant. I picked up the hook to make some stuff. I realized I liked designing rather than following a pattern, now I’ve been doing it over 6 years. Favorite yarn? Self striping in beautiful vibrant colors Where ya from? I spent the better part of my life in Southern California, and while I miss Disneyland and the predictable weather, I find that moving around from place to place a more interesting adventure. Currently I’m living with my family in the Bay Area but that will probably soon change as my husband’s military orders do. Update: I’m not back in Southern California for at least the next year. We’ll see where the Navy takes us next.
