An easy and fashionable button cowl crochet pattern. This is a pattern for the pictured cowl and is not a finished item. Put your feet up, grab a large needle and some great yarn and go to work on this easy cowl. The pattern is very different and when worked up takes on an interesting zig zag pattern. It has lots of texture and will work with most worsted weight yarns. You will be working with two strands held together so I particularly like softer yarns but certainly any worsted yarn will be fine. I would classify it as easy since the only stitches you'll need to know are chain, slip stitch and double crochet. I have included many illustrations and easy to follow directions. I have also included pictures to show you exactly how to wear this cowl. This is a copyrighted pattern, so please do not sell, copy or alter the pattern. You may use the pattern for personal use or to sell finished items off line.. You can also find me at You can download your pattern as soon as payment is completed. Due to the nature of this item, I will not be able to refund. Thank you for looking. I cannot remember a time that I haven't had a stash of yarn or fabric. While growing up, both my Grandma and my Mom were always working on some kind of project-- I remember each and every afghan that was made for every family member. How much fun it was to see the new patterns, colors and styles. So it does not surprise my family that I have gone down the same path. I love the process of coming up with new patterns, but most of all, I love the feel of the yarn as it's being worked. I will be listing more and more each week, so hope you'll keep checking back. I love the variety and creativity that crochet offers--I can make a hat or two and then I'll work on different appliques, or perhaps a headband. I hope my love of creativity and expression comes through in my items.
