PATTERN DETAILS

Every year, I make an afghan using granny squares and ripples (my grandmother's two favorite afghans), and my mom & I sell raffle tickets to raise money for Alzheimer's Research. This year, I'm designing as I'm stitching, and I'm inviting everyone to join in! I have plans for at least 8 squares - some worked flat, and some in the round - and most will be granny or ripple related. This week, we're featuring the ripple! 100% of the sales of this square goes towards Alzheimer's Research (I pay all paypal fees) BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY single crochet half double crochet double crochet half triple crochet triple crochet GAUGE 13 sts=4" in pattern SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS 12" square SUGGESTED YARN 100 yards of Worsted weight PREFERRED BRAND/YARN Red Heart Super Saver COLORWAY purple

Anastacia Knits Designs
My name is Anastacia, and I am the scrap yarn/one skein queen. I buy my yarn mainly at yard sales/thrift stores, so I got used to making do with what I could find. So most of my patterns are designed to use up the odd skeins or leftovers in your life, and are geared towards beginner crocheters or those who just want a fast, easy, but still pretty item. I'm a 30 something adult living in MA. I’m married, have a wonderful cat named Wedgie, & I work full time. I also teach knitting & crocheting at my local Michael's & squeeze in designing as many hours as I can a week. I do love to hear from everyone, but please remember that I am busy, just like you, & will reply as soon as I can. All of my patterns use USA terms & abbreviations. I try to layout my patterns as simply as possible to save money for people printing at home. My patterns are as short as possible, usually with only one photo on the first page, which you can easily skip printing to save ink. .
