I've never truly had a "Little Black Dress" that I loved so this was my way of creating one for me and any other girl, teen or woman out there. The pattern is as always fully written out and easy to follow so that crocheters of any level can attempt this pattern. Instructions on how to measure to create a dress to fit any child, girl, teen or woman of any size. We've written the pattern out so that you end up with a dress that is perfectly tailored to your own size or whomever you choose to make this dress for. You can't get a perfectly tailored dress in any shop or boutique without paying an arm and a leg these days so this is our way of making something like this available to anyone with even beginner crochet skills to make! Spring and Summer will be coming soon yet again so this is a great project to start now and work on through the winter to be ready in time to wear for the following years seasons! This dress pattern is extremely versatile and can be done in any color of your choosing (I personally plan on making one in red as well for myself!). Make a red one for Valentine's Day or the Christmas holidays and you'll be the belle of the ball! BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Suggested Stitches to be used are Half Double Crochet and Double Crochet stitches, your stitch choice however is up to you the crocheter for this piece. You will also need to know how to do a Slip Stitch as well. SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Child to Adult-Girls, Teens and Women-Instructions given on how to measure to fit.

Recommended with this pattern

  • Yarn usage is dependent on size made but we do suggest a yarn that a 4MM hook can be used with. Size 4 medium worsted weight yarn can be crocheted with a 4MM hook and is what we suggest if you do not use the same type of yarn listed in the pattern pdf file.
  • For the sample dress we used approximately 1 pound of 1,200 yard per pound poly-acrylic non-shrinking chenille and a size 4MM hook as well as one 9 foot roll of 1.50" lace. The sample dress will fit a women's US size 2. Plan accordingly for your size or the size needed.

You can order made to order items and pre-made items too! I have a wonderful and loving husband and many, many fur babies (and a couple scaly and a few finned and feathered). I've never been one to conform to what most people would call normal, but I try my best to have fun and enjoy what I do always! I am a tom girl and a girly girl all rolled up into one....why should everyone else have all the fun? It's no fun if you can't get dirty in the process! (Me? I love to play in the dirt and be outside. Mud always washes off!) I have been doing embroidery, cross stitch, quilting and all sorts of crafty things since I was 7 years old. I am now 31 (2011) and needed to do something that I enjoyed doing for once, so my business here was born! I love to cross stitch and quilt the most I would imagine out of all the things that I do (and I do many LOL) and what better way to combine my two loves of stitching! My business is my way of putting my stamp on the world, in my own way of course! I hope everyone enjoys stitching my charts as much as I did creating them! How will you put your stamp on the world? ;)
