I have always loved the colors of Malabrigo yarns and thus am always in search of a stitch to best show off the colorways. There are many knit stitches that do the job well, but what about crochet? This cloche was designed to show the beauty of crochet through a gorgeous yarn. It is because of this that I suggest a variegated or self striping yarn, though solid colors look lovely as well. ~Instructions for wool and cotton included ~Detailed photos to explain the star stitch ~Directions included for 21" - 23" head size ~Pattern creates a cloche that sits right above the eyes, but it is easy to add or subtract rows to lengthen or shorten the cloche to your desired length Pattern has been tested for errors and clarity Stitches: chain, slip stitch, back loop only, double crochet, star stitch (modified) Pattern Difficulty: Intermediate Time to Complete: 2-3 hrs BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY slip stitch double crochet chain crochet in the round GAUGE 21" Cloche 5 mm hook, worsted weight yarn: 4 rows of 4 dc = 2.25 inches x 1.25 inches 22" Cloche 5 mm hook, aran weight yarn: 4 rows of 4 dc = 2.50 inches x 1.50 inches SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS 21" - 22" cloche

Some of my other activities include camping, shopping, reading, all things internet, video games, cooking, and hanging out with my awesome friends. My mom is Nancy and she is the "Sew Too" part of our shop. While she won't let me put her age... let's just say she is on her way to seasoned. ;) She loves to keep the neighbors up with her sewing machine. Some of her other activities include holding her new granddaughter, shopping, eating out, walking, watching prime time tv, and enjoying the outdoors.
