Keep warm in the winter with this beautiful afghan covered with giant snowflakes. A matching pillow is also included. They were made alternating white with shades of blue or grey soft worsted weight yarn. This is not as complicated as it looks! A design graph is also included for reference. This pattern is written in U.S. terms. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY You should already know how to ch, sl st, sc, hdc and dc. Long hdc is explained in the instructions. I have always loved crafting! My mom and I learned to crochet together when I was 12 because there was a crocheted vest I wanted to make. We worked through it and figured it out together. I have been crocheting ever since. I started writing down patterns when making snowflakes, one of my favorite projects to make. I love working on any kind of thread crochet project such as connect as you go motifs, filet crochet, etc. My other favorite crochet projects are working on my reversible designs. I also enjoy cross stitch and knitting. Someday I hope to learn quilting and tatting.
