My most popular design is my knitted Ridiculously Easy Fashion Shrug and many buyers have asked me to come up with additional shrug designs. In my Easy Lacy Twisty Glamour Shrug, I've married knitting and Tunisian (Afghan) crochet. The rib is knitted, using twisted stitches ... and the body of the shrug is crocheted in the Tunisian Simple Stitch, but with a twist! The pattern is designed for sizes Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large, 1X, 2X and 3X, but I've also included instructions for customizing the size to fulfill your special needs. The design is very easy and requires no shaping. If you are new to Tunisian (Afghan) Crochet, don't worry! I've included detailed instructions and as with all my designs, if you have any questions, just Email me at the address listed on my pattern. I'm always available and eager to help my buyers have fun and end up with a fabulous result. NOTE: I enjoyed wearing my shrug when my husband Mike and I celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary on August 25, 2013. Fancy dinner at the Ritz Carlton in Laguna Niguel, California! Follow my blog at: I am certified as a Level 1 Master Hand Knitter by The Knitting Guild Association. My grandmother Lena taught me to knit when I was 4 years old and told me that a lifetime of knitting pleasure was her legacy to me. I love to design and knit and enter my work in competitions. I've won numerous awards and ribbons over the years and that's a lot of fun, but the greatest pleasure is the actual creative process. I specialize in Beginner and Intermediate level designs that teach new skills and promote excitement for the art that is Knitting. I think new knitters should have the opportunity to work with a well-written design that reinforces their current skills, teaches them new skills and gets a "WOW, you made that?!!?" response when showing off their completed project.
