With little dots (dits) and little lines (dahs), this blanket reminds me of the dots and dashes used in Morse Code. The ombre effect of the dots are beautiful as they fade from dark to light, but the pattern could be done in white lines with a rainbow of dots or even soft neutrals. It works up quickly and can be made in colors of your choice and to match your decor. A perfect gift for a little one, but can easily be made larger--as an afghan or coverlet for the bed. This clear 6 page pattern includes; --2 pages of written instructions ideal for printing --a photo-tutorial section including 7 pictures --materials list including the suggested yarns used in the photos --stitch abbreviation section with special stitch explanations --notes on how to adjust the size of the blanket Dimensions of pictured blanket: 32inches (81cm) x 34 inches (86 cm) Due to the nature of patterns, this pattern may not be returned or exchanged. Cheerful, Creative, Crocheter and Collector of all things Colorful describes me to a C--er, I mean a T. My sweet, left-handed granny taught me (a righty) to crochet when I was but a youngster. My first project was a hideously long scarf for my dad. It seems I just didn't know when to stop--something my teachers told me in school, too! Although crochet and other craftiness have always been part of my life, I channeled my energy and creativity into teaching Jr. High and High School sciences for many years. When I am not "yarning" (as described by my youngest), I treasure time with my family, friends, running, thrift store shopping, and learning new creative skills.
