How it works

  • This pattern was designed by a Craftsy independent design partner!
  • You'll purchase through PayPal and all profits go to the designer.
  • After purchase find your pattern in your pattern library.

This pattern was first published in the book "101 crochet one-skein wonders", but only in one size (3/6 months). I'm now making it available with added sizes up to 2/3 yo (4 sizes total). This bolero is worked in one piece from the top down : even the edging is worked directly in the continuity of the main body. That means no seaming, and very few (if any) ends to weave in at the end ! Closes with custom "poppies" ties. No buttons for babies ;-) This bolero uses very little yarn and is so quick to make: makes it a perfect last minute Baby Shower project !! NOTE: Pattern for matching baby booties also available in my store (not included in this pattern). Bird pattern also not included ;-) Permission to sell your finished items. :-) BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY You'll need to know the basic crochet stitches: how to chain, single-crochet and double-crochet. Bonjour! I'm Sylvie Damey, french designer living in the french Alps. I learned to knit as a child, but taught myself to crochet a few years after my first daughter was born and I had started making things for her... Soon crochet completely took over knitting; crochet is so liberating and enpowering. I love to crochet clothes for my daughters or myself, always focusing on what I'd love to wear on a daily basis ... and what makes me happy ! :-) I'm a visual learner, so you'll find that I always add several in-progress pictures to my patterns so you always know what you're meant to do next.
