I had some ginger fluffy yarn lying there for the longest time and the only thing that I could think to make was an Orangutan. I've always liked them and after doing some research for this project, I now know that they have become endangered due to the palm oil and pulp and paper companies clearing the rainforests to use for their plantations. Daisy is a young Sumatran Orangutan from Indonesia. 10 percent of the sale price will be donated to SOS to support their work. GAUGE No gauge required SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS 21cm standing 14cm sitting 22cm arm span

My Mum taught me how to knit when I was little and I enjoyed it, but would go for years without making anything. Amigurumi popped up on one of my searches for knitted toys and I really liked the look of the crocheted items and that's when I decided I was going to learn how. Since April 2012 I've mastered and designed my own patterns and become truly addicted to this art. I hope you enjoy my patterns as much as I do creating them. Check out my facebook page:
