PATTERN DETAILS

This pattern has been inspired by the lovely 'lazy-daisy' stitch and the simplicity of the lovely daisy flower. In my mind's eye, I see a lovely field of daisies slowly nodding their heads in the breeze all through this little kerchief. Hope you see it too, and enjoy wrapping this daisy kerchief around your neck. I guess I should also give credit to my all time favourite movie "You've got mail" where this lovely flower makes it's presence in a large vase that is lovingly hugged :) This pattern has been tested using : 3-ply acrylic Oswal mills , 60 g / 342 yds ; 4 mm crochet hook ; Gauge: 1 shell stitch = 1" (high) x 1.2" (across) A.P.D.O.O Jelka , 87 g / 363 m ; 5 mm crochet hook ; Gauge : 1.2'-1.5' for a shell ; Comments : Clear instructions & photos , took about 3 evenings to complete, Skill Level by tester: Medium for the beginning, easy for the repeat section ; Lithuanian linen lace , 295 yds ; "G" crochet hook ; Comments : Very clear instructions and photos, took about 10 hrs to complete ; really lovely pattern Skill level by tester :Advanced beginner ; Paton's Silk Bamboo , 260 yds, 5 mm (H) hook ; Comments :Took about 6-7 hrs, Skill level by tester : Easy / Beginner could easily do this.
