I wanted to design a hat which is very simple to make but it looks great, a lacy hat that everyone can make even if they have never done any lace work, this one I think it does it!, I lovely the soft colours on it as well, and instead of putting another flower I have decided that a bow is just the cherry on the top! In this pattern I explain the lace stitch with plenty of pictures, it is easy to understand and to make even if you are still new to crochet. You will need a worsted weight yarn and a H hook Sizes: newborn - 3 3 - 6 months 6 - 24 months 3 - 10 years teens - adult Skill Level: Easy You will need: ? Size hook H (5 mm) ? Yarn needle ? Worsted medium weight yarn in two contrasting colours, I have used lilac and green but you could do chocolate and mint maybe? ? A Button (optional) Please note all my patterns are written in standard american terms. For giveaways, coupons and free patterns please visit my facebook on: and my blog: Thanks for visiting!

My name is Luz Mendoza and I am originally from Spain, from the beautiful Island of Tenerife, I moved to the UK over 17 years ago and live in London with my better half a wonderful english man and my three children, a boy and identical twin girls. I crochet, knit, sew, cook, bake and eat, laugh, play, hug, kiss… basically I am in love with life! I have decided to write the crochet patterns that are mostly inspired by my kids, sometimes it is what I think they need or like and sometimes it is just a plain request!, ‘mummy can you make me a…’ the best part is to see their faces when I gave them something that I have made, ‘mummy, you made it for me?’, I love it!, I hope you enjoy my patterns to. Happy Crocheting!
