This design is the brainchild of Tanya Naser from HodgePodge Crochet, and she wanted to do a collaboration piece. She completed a child size Bobble Beanie and asked some fellow designer friends to tackle the other sizes. This pattern is my finished result. I used Red Heart With Love to create a soft textured hat that looks absolutely adorable on my little Grumpers. The first time I touched a hook was the summer of 89. My aunt was tired of us kids complaining about being bored, and put us to work making butterfly magnets. We used single and double crochet to complete these adorable magnets with pipe cleaner antennae. It was 23 years later before I picked up a hook again and after encouragement of Facebook friends, From Home was created a few days before my 33 birthday this past January. Most of what I know now was self taught (minus those 2 stitches Aunt Jan showed me). and six months ago, patterns looked like gibberish to me. I am proud of how far I have come in such a short time, and look forward to a future of hooking and creation.
