PATTERN DETAILS

I'm lucky enough to live in an area where it's really cold during the winter months and slippers are a MUST HAVE to survive the cold. So I went on a mission to design a more trendy slipper boot that was warm enough for the cold here and comfy enough to wear in not so frigid temperatures. The "Knot Knit" Slipper Boots are SOOO super comfy & warm that you'll want to make yourself a pair in every color. :) The soles of these slippers are not constructed like the majority of slipper patterns. They are not worked in the round in an oval pattern. The way that they're worked makes them much easier and quicker to work up. :) Pattern Sizes Inlcuded: Small: Women's 5/6 Medium: Women's 7/8 Large: Women's 9/10 Extra Large: Women's 11/12 The pattern calls for a Chunky Weight / 5 yarn. I prefer Wool-Ease Chunky or Loops and Threads Charisma for my slippers. However, I had a couple of testers who worked theirs up using 2 strands of Worsted Weight/4 yarn. As long as you check your gauge, you should have no problems. Slipper Boot design is an 'A Crocheted Simplicity' Original Design. A Crocheted Simplicity
I'm a self-taught crafter, of a variety of different crafts and mediums. My latest passion has been crocheting! Just over a year ago, we moved up to God's country where the winters can be really long. I needed something to do to pass the time and keep me warm, crocheting was just that "thing"! I found that making blankets for wedding gifts, also helped to keep me warm during the day. lol I recieved alot of positive feedback from the items I created and was urged by many friends and family to "sell my designs", so thus it began, my journey into writing crochet patterns and A Crocheted Simplicity was opened! I hope you enjoy them as much as I do! :) Jennifer
