Share a little about the materials, processes, and techniques used to create this cake The first tier of this cake was a simple white fondant covered 14" cake, trimmed with a border of rhinestone ribbon. A fondant bow was added. All were brushed with pearl dust. The second tier was made by cutting MANY triangles out of wafer paper and curling them around a 3/8" dowel. They were applied to a 10" cake using piping gel in staggered rows and trimmed with a border of rhinestone ribbon around the top. The third tier was another simple white fondant covered 8" cake trimmed with a narrow ribbon of rhinestones and completed with four swags with four drapes, fanned at the top. To complete the look, a single row of rhinestone ribbon was added between the drapes and a double row finished the drapes. All were brushed with pearl dust. The fourth and final tier, a 6" cake was simply covered in white fondant and waits to hold the cake topper.
