Why thank you! :)

WOW lisa that really looks great I enjoy all your stuff. Do you do this full time? Also question do you put the fondant and butter cream combo into a fridge? Do you wrap it in cellophane? In other words how do you protect the integraty of the rolled fondant. Have you ever put a gum paste project into the fridge.
lisascakes answered:
Thank you for the kind words! Yes, I do this full time out of my home. I am well equipped with two large ovens and three fridges. Yes, I put my fondant and buttercream in the fridge all the time - I've had no problems in the last 8 years - no, I do not wrap any cake that has been finished iced. I put gumpaste in the fridge all the time with no problem - but to clarify, I wait until the last day or day before the wedding to put gumpaste flowers on the cake. If the bows/flowers are not on a cake, I leave them out at room temp in a clean, dry area away from sunlight. The only items I do not put in the fridge until the day of the wedding are royal icing items as they will get soft and lose their shape against the buttercream and moisture. Hope this helps! :) Lisa
chocolate art asked:
Where did you get the molds for the buttons?
lisascakes answered:
That mold is the cheap Wilton mold available at Walmart and Michaels for about $5.99. Works really well! Lisa
