Piping skills. What advice would you give someone starting this project? I would recommend that you practice piping rosettes on a piece of wax paper. Start at the bottom of the cake and work your way around the cake. Keep the rosettes closed together to avoid gaps and cake showing. A small crumb coat should be done first before adding the buttercream rosettes.
