Fondant mixed with tylose rolled really thin, cut with rose petal cutter. About 1/3 top of petal cut off with bottom of cutter, bottom of petal thinned to ruffle. Attach petal to cake stretching top of petal straight which gives it more of a ruffle. Attach next petal next to previous petal without overlapping, next row done the same placing petals in between previous rows petals. Work from bottom up. Hope this helps.
