Share a little about the materials, processes, and techniques used to create this cake 2 x 7 inch cake layers (each split in half), one cake baked in a pudding tin, fondant, gumpaste, flower cutters, lace mold, scrollwork mold (for decorations on the handle), extruder gun for rope What are you most proud of? How smooth the ganache was and how well the lace mold worked! (thanks again to silicone plastique!) What advice would you give someone starting this project? Don't be daunted if you don't have a ball tin. I used a pudding tin and it seemed to work out just fine =)
