What are you most proud of? The attention to detail and the fact that every single item on the cakes is completely edible - no short cuts were taken. I am by no means a professional baker but have found my passion in cake decorating. I have always wanted to make a handbag cake but of course could not afford the huge amount they charge for these. Every single person at the party loved it so much that they did not want me to cut it. The best part was also when we cut it up and the cake inside tasted just as awesome as it looked on the outside. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Prepare, prepare, prepare - there are things that need to be done at least a couple of weeks in advance (eg. handle, etc.) and also a couple of days prior so make sure you watch the course then write a list of instructions and checklists so you can ensure all items are completed within the required time. Finally as with all cake decoration you have to have patience but most of all have fun and enjoy it.
