What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take your time with the fondant, do not take any shortcuts. I did not have time to make the decorations 24 hours in advance, and I wish I had! It's worth letting things dry before putting them on a cake. And do use chocolate to stick the decorations on - it's the best!
