I made it watching Amazing Mikes on line course- Really Great. I learnt a lot but next time I make it I'll cover it with ganache not buttercream and I'll use a firmer cake than the vanilla sponge inside. Having a firmer cake to work with (like Mike had said- should have listen ha ha) would have been much easier to work with. What are you most proud of? Learning something new What advice would you give someone starting this project? Make sure you have a firm cake. Also I made the cake to big to fit into a fridge to chill...check first or use chocolate ganache not butter cream.
