Share a little about the materials, processes, and techniques used to create this cake Fondant, buttercream, white chocolate, luster dust, dragees, pearls, cake What are you most proud of? The movement in the fondant ruffles. Lying them vertically instead of the traditional horizontal pattern was very eye catching, but without some movement the ruffles would have gotten lost lying flat on top of one another. I separated them and then tipped the edges of every third one in silver luster dust to create depth. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Keep an eye on your ruffles and make sure that you don't lose your angle. Without paying attention, they start to en up straight up and down which creates a very different effect.
